Dental Services

Lakes Dental provides a range of dental services, including routine checkups, cleanings, fillings, cosmetic dentistry, and other dental procedures. All treatments are provided by qualified professionals who comply with New Zealand health and safety regulations.

a. Appointments:

• Appointments can be scheduled by phone, online, or in person.
• We request that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

b. Treatment Plans:

• After your initial consultation, we will provide you with a personalized treatment plan outlining recommended procedures and associated costs.
• You are under no obligation to proceed with the treatment plan, but by consenting, you agree to adhere to the terms, including payment obligations.

Payment and Billing

a. Fees:

• All fees for services rendered are outlined prior to the commencement of treatment. Fees may vary depending on the complexity of the treatment.
• Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed upon.

b. Payment Methods:

• We accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, EFTPOS, credit cards, and approved payment plans.
• We also work with select health insurance providers. It is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance covers the treatment, and to provide any necessary paperwork.

c. Payment Plans:

For larger treatments, we may offer payment plans. These must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of treatment.

Patient Responsibilities

a. Providing Accurate Information:

Patients must provide accurate medical history and dental information to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment. Any known allergies, conditions, or medications should be disclosed.

b. Adherence to Instructions:

For optimal results, you must follow the aftercare instructions provided by your dentist. Failing to do so may affect your treatment outcomes.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to a need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

• Cancellation Policy: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Missed Appointments: Repeated missed appointments may result in your removal from our patient list.
